Summer Film School update: Bette and Joan, trailers

As you can imagine, I'm a bit behind where I imagined I would be with the Awards Wiz Summer Film School series.

The beginning of my viewing process was great. I watched "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane" and "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte," while "Mommie Dearest" arrived in my mail box, just in time.

But instead, I found myself binging the both the most recent season of "Game of Thrones" as well as the first season of Wachowskis' "Sense8" on Netflix.

With that transparency, I am going to watch "Mommie Dearest" after years and years of avoiding it as soon as I hit publish on this piece. By the end of the weekend I hope to have finished watching "Dangerous" as well. After a struggle finding a decent copy without buying it, I settled on renting it on Vudu for 3 bucks.

If you are interested, I've posted the trailers for all the films in the Bette and Joan portion of the film school.

Enjoy!

27 Days of Oscar, Day 17: Fighting the queer fight and Production Design

Reading that headline makes me laugh a bit. "Fighting the queer fight and Production Design." Not quite the perfect combination...
